importantthatthereleaseactionoftheairvalvesisfastandthatthemovingpartsof
thewheelbrakesarecheckedforgoodadjustmentandoperation.
Axles
Anaxleoutofalignmentincreasesrollingresistance.Regularlycheckthefrontwheel
alignmentandaxlesonboththetractorandtrailer/semi-trailer.Iftheyarecorrect,
therewillbelessrollingresistanceand,therefore,lowerfuelconsumption.
Agoodsignofanaxleorwheeloutofalignmentisuneventirewear.Checkthetires
often.
